Drea's Fitness Success Story
Many years ago, Drea began a fitness journey that’s been nothing less than extraordinary. She’s always been active, from running track and playing volleyball in high school, to now following high-intensity interval training (HIIT) programs and loving yoga. Facing ups and downs is part of her journey, but nothing stands in her way.
In 2021, Drea tried FITIV Pulse on her Apple Watch. Since then, she’s been hooked on its real-time heart rate tracking capabilities during workouts that tell her how hard she’s pushing herself. Being at home isn’t an excuse for her not to do workouts, the app has always been there to motivate her. Drea enjoys doing her HIIT workouts that focus on weightlifting, upper-body, lower-body, and abs, exercising every part of her body.
Her main goal in her journey is to have the best quality of life possible and maintain her fitness, after all, she’s got 5 grandchildren to keep an eye on. They’re such a massive inspiration for her to keep going. Being able to play with an extremely active family while it’s warm outside, without needing to take moments to rest, has been so meaningful to her.
Drea’s been noticing some remarkable progress in her health since she’s made changes to her food choices. Her diet now mainly consists of eating raw vegetables and fruits, while completely eliminating red meat, pork and poultry. She does treat herself occasionally to some delicious seafood. After these changes, there’s been some major improvements in her energy levels, skin and hair condition, and muscle tone.
A crucial part of her journey has been overcoming knee pain, which previously hindered her ability to perform high-impact workouts. Now she’s celebrating being able to do her jumping jacks, squats, burpees, and more without any pain. An impressive feat has been to lose over 40 inches from her whole body since her last measurements in early February, preferring those rather than weight measurements.
She loves to have a community that celebrates her accomplishments while sharing daily progress pictures of herself. Drea has been very thankful for the opportunity to share her fitness journey with a wider audience, hoping to inspire others to follow in her footsteps.
